The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.
For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.
You can also create and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great click here feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's slightly more expensive than some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel is the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
