The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do to identify your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating clean robot cleaner tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.
It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
